News From England No.2 30 September 1940
News From England was a two sided news sheet dropped over the Channel Islands during WW2 by the RAF, It contained news from Great Britain and was in effect a British propaganda leaflet complied with information about the war to give the Islanders a much needed boost. Note the article regarding the escape from Guernsey
Please see the photos for further information. This particular per has been folded into 8, no doubt to aid easy carrying and possible passing from one islander to another. As such the paper is well used but is some respects adds to the providence of this interesting historical item
