Luftwaffe JG 26 (Jagdgeschwader) Fighter Wing Hydraulic Oil Can
Known by their yellow painted noses and serving under Major Adolf Galland JG26 earned a deserved reputation as an effective fighter wing. Sometimes nicknamed ‘The Abbeville Boys’ by American Bomber crews because a number were based at Abbeville Drucat.
Please note there is a small hole in the base of the can so it is no longer suitable for storing oil!
